KISS Live in Vancouver B.C. Canada 12/31/99

This is the New Years Eve show from Vancouver British Columbia. This is a Phenomenal show! The guys were really on this night. Ace looks and sounds fantastic in this show. KISS proved once again why they are the best at what they do. Some high lights from the show are the non-makeup songs preformed (Heaven's on Fire and Lick it up) I Love it loud also made it to the set list. Ace pulls off a great solo on Lick it up. Now for the not so good part. The video is not so great. The first problem with the video is that there are photo morphs that were edited in with the show. Its about half of the video. The reason is that the camera would grain out when the lighting wasn't good. So pictures were edited in to make it look more presentable. A pretty good idea but the audio is blurted during the transition from show to photos. I would have preferred to see the show alone. Sacrifice screen time for the audio. The audio is great. There is good bass sound in this one. The audio isn't perfect but really good and clear. The video is in Hi-Fi stereo. The picture other wise is good. Nice clear and sharp. The color is good but not too solid. The show is really good but the video is okay. There are other versions floating around. Here is the one I have so far. Recommended if you really want to see a great show.
